What Our Guests are saying
When we first arrived at The Lavender Farm, we had the opportunity to meet Bob Gillies, the farm owner, and his wife, Barb. Bob was indispensable throughout this process. He was friendly, honest, answered our questions as best he could and even offered unexpected surprises to help make our day special. Bob brought some great suggestions to us as well.

Weddings

Deciding on a wedding venue can be a daunting experience. There is so much to think about before making that final decision. Will the venue accommodate my guest list? Is it accessible with lots of free parking? Do they offer a selection of menu options? Will it provide a memorable, uplifting and "one-of-a-kind" experience for our guests? Does it have a spectacular setting for amazing photos? Can we have a dance party using our own DJ? At The Lavender Farm, we can fulfill all of these wishes and much more!

A Photographer's Delight

Situated on a magnificent, sprawling acreage of lavender fields and hardwood forests, The Lavender Farm is an absolute photographer's delight that will render an amazing collection of photos that you will cherish forever. The rustic charm of our barn was carefully preserved after the completion of extensive renovations to offer pristine, comforatable, country style surroundings for your guests. The old barnboard siding and massive wooden beams offer a wonderful backdrop for photos as well as a great conversation piece!
Fields of Lavender

Our beautiful, fragrant lavender is native to the mountainous zones of the Mediterranean where it grows in sunny, stony habitats. The name lavender comes from the Latin root lavare, which means "to wash." Lavender may have earned this name because it was frequently used in baths to help purify the body and spirit. However, this herb has also been used as a remedy for a range of ailments from insomnia and anxiety to depression and fatigue. Research has confirmed that lavender produces a slight calming, soothing, and sedative effects when its scent is inhaled.
